November 4th general municipal election 2025

  • Education: 

  • Employment:  Fulton County Government  

    • Responsibilities: support cybersecurity elements across programs and services, working closely with county information technology executives to develop and deliver mission critical projects.  

  • Family:  

    • Wife: Joy Antone,  elementary school principal, Atlanta Public School System

    • Children: two young sons and one older daughter 

  • Church affiliation: 

  • Hobbies: Martial arts, fishing, yardwork, traveling, youth sports coaching

PUBLIC SERVICE: City of Powder Springs  https://www.cityofpowdersprings.org/ 

  • Development Authority of Powder Springs (DAPS), member from 2022 to present. Nominated by Mayor Al Thurman. Currently serving as DAPS Vice Chairman.

    • Issued a bond financing tax abatement for a 347,000 sq. ft. logistics center, with an investment value of $50 million, which will create 110 jobs by the end of 2025.

    • Partnered to research federal grants with the City of Powder Springs, its Downtown Development Authority, and city consulting agency, Paro Strategies. 

  • Planning and Zoning Commission, member from 2014 to 2022. Sponsored by then city council members, Chris Wizner and Patricia Wisdom.  Served as Commission Vice Chair.

    • Shaped the Downtown Overlay District for cohesive development.

    • Updated the city’s sign ordinance to improve aesthetics and support businesses.

    • Highly inclusive of  residents’ ideas during LCI plan community listening sessions. 

  • Warren Creek Homeowners Association, Powder Springs, Georgia. A community of 100 homes. 

    • Appointed to the HOA Board of Directors, serving a community of 100 homes, by then city council member and HOA president Chris Wizner. Served continuously from 2013 to 2023.  

    • Elected HOA Board president from 2019 to 2021.  Worked with local and state emergency management to guide HOA response during 2019-2020 pandemic shutdown.

  • Georgia Child Support Commission.

  • Philanthropic Service: The Leadoff Foundation, Powder Springs, Georgia

  • Community Service: Metro Atlanta Kiwanis International, Division 16

  • Community Service: Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Carrollton-Douglasville Alumni Chapter (CDAC), a working chapter established in 2005.
